|  | | | it's not exactly UE, but there are a few things i've seen on my drives through dryden to my little community college that i just had to stop and photograph a while back. one of them had been intriguing me for a few semesters since i didn't have a car prior to this semester and would take the city bus from ithaca.

and even though everyone who's been through dryden has seen the transformer towers (or whatever they are) near the NYSEG power station, i got a little closer to try and get pics for one of my projects. still kept a pretty safe distance:

thanks. i wasn't putting much thought into the overall composition because i was shooting for a digital composite assignment, i tried using number 7, but ended up using a tower from another shot instead because it was easier than editing that shot (i hate doing digital editing).

indeed. if i wasn't driving out there for classes every day this past semester, i'd never have any reason to be there. a lot of empty store fronts on whatever street rt. 13 turns into there though. i hope i never need to be there again
