it's not exactly UE, but there are a few things i've seen on my drives through dryden to my little community college that i just had to stop and photograph a while back. one of them had been intriguing me for a few semesters since i didn't have a car prior to this semester and would take the city bus from ithaca.

old drive-in movie screen behind a place that sells trailers and double-wides:

barn being ripped apart (it's nothing but rubble now):

and even though everyone who's been through dryden has seen the transformer towers (or whatever they are) near the NYSEG power station, i got a little closer to try and get pics for one of my projects. still kept a pretty safe distance:

6 is my favirote, 7 looked like it had potential to be a great shot.

The Misandry around these parts is redonkulous. Sorry I was born with male anatomy.

thanks. i wasn't putting much thought into the overall composition because i was shooting for a digital composite assignment, i tried using number 7, but ended up using a tower from another shot instead because it was easier than editing that shot (i hate doing digital editing).

indeed. if i wasn't driving out there for classes every day this past semester, i'd never have any reason to be there. a lot of empty store fronts on whatever street rt. 13 turns into there though. i hope i never need to be there again
