| | | Condensation < on 1/21/2004 4:11 AM >
| | | Specifically for UE, if your camera isn't made to resist extreme temperatures, condensation can occur in in your camera or even in the lens of the camera if it is used in freezing temperatures for a while and then is brought into a much warmer environment. If you do need to use your camera outside for a while in freezing temperatures, put the camera in two ziplock bags before going indoors and leave the camera sealed in the bags for a while so the camera can slowly warm up in the bags to help prevent condensation from occuring inside the camera. (The bags collect it instead) The opposite can also occur, if your camera enters a freezing environment to suddenly condensation can occur. I usually leave my camera in my pocket for a minute after entering freezing temperatures and bring it out after its a little adjusted to the temperature change.
