What fetish?  |  Ottawa River Valley Historic Topo Maps < on 1/15/2008 6:36 AM >   If you're doing any 'sploring around the Ottawa River, Quebec's Bibliothèque et Archives nationales web site has a collection of scanned, high-res, historic topo maps online: http://services.ba...tice&col=topo63360 The maps date from 1908 to 1952. They're all maps of Quebec, but the area of coverage includes the Ontario side of the Ottawa River too. Coverage is a bit spotty above Chalk River, but the collection includes at least one edition of each map sheet from Chalk River down to Hawkesbury. The site's french only, but it's pretty easy to navigate. If you need help finding something in particular, let me know and I'll be glad to assist. All the maps use the standard NTS numbering system.
