When encountering a camera there are two options one can choose: avoid the camera all together, or walk in plain view of it. When avoiding the camera care should be taken to ensure that you stay out of its sight completely, or else you will look like someone intentionally trying to avoid being seen. If you choose to walk in clear view of the camera, do so with confidence so you will appear to know what you're doing and have a purpose for being where you are. Not all cameras are monitored by security guards, some just record the site in case the images are needed for evidence. Therefore, being spotted by a camera doesn't necessarily mean that security is on the way.
