| | | There is a currently unused old Ontario Hydro truck/distribution center in Oakville. I am certain others on here have explored it already. It is mostly a truck service garage with some offices, and power distribution center upstairs. As of current Ontario Hydro seems to be sitting on he property until Oakville GO decided they want it badly enough to turn it into a parking lot. Anyways, there was previously 2 large security cameras on the roof which seem to have deterred most of the vandals (doubtful they have worked in the last 5 years tho). They have disappeared recently, so its only a matter of time before the place gets wrecked up in my opinion. Definitely worth checking out sometime soon while its still in one piece, if only for the distribution center upstairs.

| | | It's very much empty inside. http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=25073 (full members only). Even with the two security cameras one was pointing off toward another building and the other into space (that's right it was pointing off into nothing). The police used to do frequent police training inside although I'm not sure if that's still commonly done. The Salvation Army has also done some work in the building before. It's mostly large warehouse space, a few machine rooms and empty offices. There used to be power back in 2006 but its been cut for a while now.

| | | It is mostly empty, but there still is a bit of interesting stuff to see. Like work boots, lots of workboots.

| | | Also it's one of the few locations that has minimal graffiti inside I thought that was a perk seeing how the Life care centre right across the street from Hydro is just...well destroyed pretty much. I give it another year before it gets torn down.

Its very close to a GO station, so probably after 1am is your best option. It's well lit, but pretty deserted at night. There are also a couple apartment buildings that overlook the site, but thats not really an issue unless you head out onto the roof.

| | | Naw the GO station isn't much of a problem. There's some neighbouring businesses that might give you some trouble but just go after normal working hours and you should be fine.

| | | This place was pretty interesting when I went a year ago. I assume not so much now.
