I'm sure a number of you have seen this or at least heard about it. Went there yesterday, walked around the parameters and finally found a place to hop the fence. I threw my pack over and jumped, only to be met with a cruiser sitting and waiting for the likes of me.
I'm wondering if anyone has been successful in getting in, but the fact that a cruiser was sitting and just waiting makes me think it'd be pretty hard.
Here are a few measly picture I managed...

So much for discretion. Its bad enough you jumped without looking, but then you posted about it to a public thread with the real name and address. Change the thread name if you don't want more heat on the location.

Its written in the Star that its an abandoned building, what its called, and the address; its public information, so its natural the cops are there. But I'll change it anyway

It's just for search reasons. I'm not sure if you saw the thread about muskoka san as I see you don't have full user status but you don't want a thread coming up on a search where people talk about organizing a meet at a specific location, etc. There is another thread about this site from a few days ago but I guess its level3.

The cops are already at the location. Does secrecy even matter at this point?

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.

As a mod I'm surprised you'd be shocked at my request to change the threads name. Did it occur to you that the cop might have just been enjoying a donut break there, irrespective of anything else? See he could have been there for any number of reasons -- maybe some kids were making a rukas earlier trying to get into the plant?

The location is not a secret, and never was. Its a goddam 10 story building in the middle of west Toronto, taking up a whole block @ 150,000 sq ft. I'm suprised people didn't find it earlier, but it just goes to show you that anything discussed here gets heat, in complete contradiction to the insinuation that nobody gives a shit about this website. They do.

This site was vacant for quite a while, for more then a year and half and no one even talked about it before that article was published. Infact, there was another article months ago no one mentioned.

Maybe you don't give a shit about getting arrested or going back to location, but some people do. That's no longer the case here because its under construction anyways. And you don't have to take my word for it, just go and see for yourself.

You're right though, the cop probably was just idle at the location because it was a vacant building/construction site which is a favourable idling spot, the fact that they merely told him to scram is evidence that they don't give a shit.

My point was more addressed to your comparison of Muskoka sanitarium and this location; which last I checked the Muskoka meet went fine despite its public presence across the forums (much like the other 3 meets they held). But you totally attacked the original poster for posting publicly accessible information and drawing unnecessary "heat" to the location, there's been articles publicly published as you yourself mentioned with it's address fully listed - which apparently is fine, but if you quote the article for it's address that oversteps a line?

I'd assume the location being mentioned in THE TORONTO STAR has more to do with the attention given to it then UER, since two threads have already been spawned by that one article.

Regardless he already changed the topic title at your suggestion.
