| | | not according to the database. Why not go on one side on your way there, and the other on the way back? (i'm assuming you have to go back to Ottawa)

| | | If you are into draining... There is the GG drain, starts at the river between the Prime Minister's and the Governor General's houses -or- there is the Voyager Drain that empties out into the Ottawa River in Orleans. Its a 12 foot diameter Corrugated pipe that runs from the river to Youville Drive. -or- All along 147/17 there are farm houses and the odd motel sitting abandoned. -or- Take the Quebec side and stop by the train station in Buckingham -or- Stop at the abandoned papermill in Masson if you can find it -or- there is quite a nice partially built and abandoned apartment building in Thurso if you stand the smell of the town -or- you could go to the Chateau Montebello and poke around the place. There are accessible attic spaces over the pool/spa building, one with really nice peep holes into the change rooms that look to have been there for many decades. Found that one by accident. -or- Stop by the Parc Omega and have a great drive through safari. See and feed deer, wolves, wapiti, bears and other neat animals. Although not "Urban Exploration" it is a really neat place to visit. Google them for the location, its in Montebello. You'll like it.

| | | Another option would be to stay on the Ontario side for the drains, then cross back over on the Cumberland ferry ($8) which drops you off on the other side of the river in Masson.
