| | | Very pretty location!! Looks like nothing I've seen so far in Ontario!
Urban exploring since getting chased out of an abandoned barn with my mother at the age of four by an angry farmer with a pitchfork. |

| | | I think it was the Donald chemical plant, they used to make wood alcohol and other such products.

| | | I thought the photography was great. Some UE'rs get too caught up in the perfect macro shot, and forget we just want to see what the place looks like. That is definitely one of the neater 'skeleton buildings' I've seen...lots of interested stuff left behind. Thanks for the thread. Sorry to edit...flubbed my words. | | | Looks like a Dodge Power wagon, civilian model, flat6, not much left of a cool old truck. Mattracker and Samuri could probably give us the option list and build sheet number on this beauty.

| | | It can be hard to capture the essence of something as big as this place in photos... but you did a good job of it! Nice find and thanks for sharing the photos.

| | | Thanks for these pictures!! I have memories of this place from when I was a teenager. I stumbled across it while snowmobiling. But I could never remember where it was or how I got there. I will have to check it out sometime. It looks fairly undisturbed. But last time I was there I remember seeing more cranes/hoists around.

| | | wow! thanks to everyone for all the positive responses! a word to the wise to anyone going there - and i know i've warned of this before - be careful...it's best to go on an overcast day (and not at night)...around that area, you don't worry about security guards, you worry about rednecks with hunting rifles! but yeah, totally worth the trip...it was definitely a cool venue. more pictures to come from me soon, of a much different location (as soon as i'm back at my apartment next week and can upload my photos)!

| | | Awesome! I passed that place a bunch of times when I was a kid ( I used to go to summer camp just down the road). I had no idea it was still standing. WICKED!

| | | Very cool find. It makes me wonder how things like the old record player, boat, etc can just end up there.
