Well, I spent an embarrassing amount of time with Google the last couple of days trying to figure it out. I was hoping it was a bit closer to me, but am not surprised it's not. It looks like a really charming little place.

And I just checked out the rest of the pics you have, on your site...you're lucky to have been able to spend so much time there, me thinks.

You thought a location posted by a guy named "sudbury" would be close to you in Kitchener?

Nobody said it was near Sudbury

when you are here, you wish you were there. but once you're there, it soon becomes a here, and you again wish to be there instead of here...

we will never be completely satisfied.

Well, "sudbury" does get around, though, so why not? It turns out it's much closer to Kitchener than Sudbury anyway.

My ears were burning and I had to come check this thread.

It's closer to Kitchener than to Sudbury fo sho.

I don't know what other clues could be given... I think most people have figured it out by now. Unless you look under your kitchen sink right now and . . .

It's amazing how small that factory is too.

Crummy picture but take a look at this former residence which is now an addiction treatment centre (er, quite secure to get in or out, and quite active):

My grandfather used to be the night watchman at that factory. I remember him sleeping during the afternoons until it was time to work the midnight shift. Unfortunately this was years before my UE interests were rooted otherwise I would have asked for a tour.

Sadly both of my grandparents are now dead and there is nothing but memories of childhood summers spent in that town. I'll go back one day though.

The photo you posted is the first thing I see on the way into town as I exit the 401. It looks amazing!

(Mutt: I had no idea you were so close. I will have to try and look you up next time I'm in the area.)
