I came across a house and a church today but unfortunately did not make it inside either of them. The neighboring houses are very close to both locations so it was not feasible to attempt to get in during broad daylight I am looking forward to returning, the house looks pretty neat, but the church especially caught my interest.

If you're exploring a church that doesn't have any "no trespassing" signs posted it's perfectly legitimate to just walk right in. Most churches are unlocked most of the time.

Such a tease to come across places like that with neighbours too close, hope you get in sometime though!

We came across the same problem down around Sherman/Burlington St area last summer. So many places to see,yet there were still a few people living down there,so we couldn't go into them.

That house looks like it would be plenty of fun.
But I can understand why the church would be especially interesting for you.

Good point, but this church hasn't held a mass in many years. Nobody in the area really knows much about it, however I have some other ideas on how I can find out some more information.

Edit: I guess I should have elaborated more! I talked to some people in the area, and all they know is that up until about a year ago there was a cleaning lady who would come in every so often, I guess just to maintain the place? Other than that it has stood empty for quite some time. I might just try the whole asking for permission approach for this one, mainly because of the proximity of the neighbors etc. However if that fails, I will not give up
