| | | Who all is planning on going to Greenwood? We could all try to get in as a group if there's a good number of us. I'm also planning to try and see Eglinton afterward as well. [last edit 5/18/2009 7:10 PM by Archer - edited 1 times]

| | | We went to Don Jail but were too late. Seems that they were only able to allow 1200 visitors per day but had more than 5000 visitors. The tours were done as of 11:30 am. Damn!! [last edit 5/25/2009 2:04 AM by rainman8889 - edited 1 times]

| | | I was disappointed with not being able to get in the Don Jail, my fault, got there too late. Greenwood was cool to see. Did anybody else check out Brickworks? It's a real shame their tearing the old place down... My buddy and I also ended up getting kicked out of Queen's Park for doing a little "self tour" on our own, we managed to get downstairs to some staff only places, took the elevator up to the fourth floor where a security guard asked us why we weren't with a tour. Overall a good day! [last edit 5/25/2009 3:34 PM by insanedArk - edited 1 times]

I was at the Brickworks market on Saturday. It appeared as though the only buildings that were open were a couple of the smaller ones. The big main building wasn't open at all.

| | | i'm so glad i didn't bother with brickworks, that place is SO boring. Even with playing with bees it was boring. Union was fun to tour, however there was 3 different people that would crash our off tour plans if we had tried so we just played nice. union

yea. i got there at 0845 or so. they closed the line at ~1130-1200 b/c they couldnt take any more people thru before the end of the event. i decided that i couldnt safely spend any more time in the sun, even with my 30spf, around 1300 (i dont tan, i cook).

On the south side, the Evergreen administration building. Was probably not even part of a tour but it was open.

| | | That Malt view isn't really that impressive any more...lol. It's funny, myself, Annun. and Tomms were on the east side (of the Malt), and a dude and his wife...in kayaks no less...came over (in the water) to tell us about this site the dude googled and found, which recommended a flashlight etc for the dangerous holes (obv. UER)...lol. Nice guy. j->

Personally I like the malting plant view because the building juts out into the harbour, so from the roof it looks like you're some how elevated 140 feet above the lake shooting toward downtown.
Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you. |

| | | Boffo - I suppose; you probably also recall the 'overlook' situation resulting in me walking up on the roof (while everyone else was seated) and out toward the edge, thinking 'that big shiny thing' was the sun reflecting off the roof itself, rather than being, you know, lake Ontario... this was several years back ; P j->

| | | A few from our day: (Legit rooftopping to begin with...city hall and C.Life)
(Then over to old C.Court, which had a cool 1:87ish model of itself in the entrance-way...)
(The old tradin' floor - now the design exchange...)
(And finally, our 'own' doors open...)
