I tried to see if I could track down the girls in modern day using the Internet but couldn't.
At the end of the article the mother mentions wanting to leave the city.
Unfortunately I don't have the larger sized image handy, it's on my SD card. You could say that the article is probably the most interesting part of the visit - the remainder of the house is just boring.

Appearances can be deceiving.
Most of the places that I've posted in the last two months were taken during a week at Christmas. I like to post locations over the span of a few months until spring arrives and I can hit the open road again.
With a career, a part-time job for fun, home renovations, a significant other, there isn't as much time to explore as people believe. Not to mention my car would probbly have fallen to pieces by now.
