| | | I finally found a video that was used in the 70s and 80s by CityTv. It played the song "People City" (Tommy Ambrose) and had the vocal used for sign on and the instrumental version used for sign off. I remember hearing this as a child and the song was quite peaceful. Here's the link. Hope you enjoy.

| | | Instantly reminds me of Night Walk. Doesn't it make you wonder where those people are today?

| | | Oh yeah. I really enjoyed watching that in my teens. And yeah, I would wonder where some of those people are today.

| | | i watched Night Walk often...something mesmerizing about it. i've always been a night owl, and there's something soothing and romantic about late night, big cities. those were the days.

| | | Ahh memories indeed. The show on Global was called "Night Moves" and had both walking and driving outings. Something so simple, yet so cool. I think I even taped a few shows! My favourite part was during one of the driving scenes, you can see an officer flag the car down. And who could forget the yellow street lights on the DVP.

I have an old 45 of this in my basement somewhere. Excellent song, though I wasn't around to hear it when it was used by CityTV.
