Yokes, what company? dropped by in feb, no sec then. i have run into security here, but was due to the place being used as a shoot location for a tv show. they just didnt want all of their stuff busted over the weekend. we chatted for a bit, and she let us visit the place anyways.

That's what happened to us. I was lulled into a false sense of security (so to speak) and just walked in like I owned the place. Thankfully, he was a nice guy.

| | | Really nice guy, if he's the one me HI-LITE and Dresden ran into. He started with the angry speech, but ended up wanting to let us in, talking for like 30 mins about industrial decay, and giving me contact information for the Soap Factory...haha. I wish someone had gotten a pic of us walking over to the gate (for him to unlock it to let us out), and him driving beside us slowly with his door open talking...heh. Honda Element security car, by the way...very interesting... j->

| | | I noticed the security guy while cycling by one evening last fall. His car was inside the gate, so I asked him what he was doing there. He said that he was with Intelligarde and that they were doing security because of some toxic chemicals stored inside the place and because of the dangers of going inside. The security guy seemed to have been aware of the explorer interest in the building because he told me to "tell others" about the security. I didn't do so because the supposed security presence seemed inconsistent and I didn't really believe the chemical storage detail. Maybe it's in the second building.

Him and I also talked about horses. He used to do mounted guard. Last time I was there (a couple weeks ago) there was no guard.
