| | | Do people organize impromptu meets? < on 4/10/2010 3:02 AM >
| | | Hey Guys, I know there's a monthly meet for Toronto UE'ers. I was wondering if people ever post impromptu events, or if that sort of thing is frowned upon. I don't really know anyone on this forum and I'm really eager to check out some spots... What's the protocol for this sort of thing? Neil

| | | Ask and yee shall receive? Sometimes it just takes one PM to end up on-top of a building somewhere in Toronto the next day. I find responding to topics on places with things like "That is neat, I would really like to go there" might get a PM thrown at you. As far as I know it's not frowned upon to ask for some exploring buddies, though going to the meets is a good way to meet people in real life, in a big group, before planning further smaller meet-ups with just them.

| | | I am planning on going to the next monthly meet, and I've run into other UER's on my first couple explores -- all good people. I am really interested in checking out the King Edward Ballroom, the pics look really badass. Probably not the most exciting explore, but great photo ops. N3030

I believe the Ballroom is already under renovations and inaccessible. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.
