| | | apparently the now owners of "Bo Peeps", were the ones who bought "Sisters" buffet.
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

| | | An original strip mall from the late 1950's still exists (or used to several years ago) on Lawrence between Victoria Park and Pharmacy. It even had the original KFC signage, but that was replaced a few years ago. Every time I drove past that particular strip, I felt as if I went back in time. The facade and the signs had not changed at all.

| | | Nice pictures fedge. It's amazing to see the changes. I'm wondering if any of you guys remember a restaurant called The Copper Kettle on Lawrence just west of Warden? It was actually closer to Pharmacy about a block east on the north side. Right Here where Canadian Fine Motors now is anyway. I remember it well from my childhood and it was a great restaurant. I'll also never forget the crazy stairs leading down to the basement if you needed to use the washroom. Anywhos, hopefully one of you guys will remember it. It was a great place. Yes, I remember having dinner at that place when I was a kid, I think the Porsche dealership next door, made it stick out more in my memory.

| | | ...ok..deep breath... Air 33, I know exactly which strip plaza you're talking about, the "Scott's Chicken Villa" is/was at the east end of the plaza. bandi, I was thinking the exact same thing! Big Daddy D, I completely forgot about that restaurant, but once I saw the Google street view it all came back to me. Anybody remember the swinging lady, or The Golden Mile Theaters? Time to visit the library & newspaper archives...

| | | I think I was conceived at the bottom of those crazy stairs at the Kettle, after a bacon quiche, and Molson binge by my parents.........Not to tarnish your image of the Kettle or anything. Very nice set Fedge, I'm a huge geek for before and after sets.

Wow i completely forgot about the swinging lady at V.P and Eglinton. I'm trying to remember what the sign said though, "Swing on over to Golden Mile" or "Swing on over to Golden Mile for a great deal" or something like that. Anybody else remember?

| | | The Swinging lady is still around.... they just moved her closer to the Paul Willison Chrysler dealership on Eglinton and Bermondsey..... The advertisement is for Paul Willison. I remember one time they got rid of the lady and put a swinging couple.... people wrote letters of complaints demanding the lady be put back because she is a fixture of the area.
