I don't know if it's because they've fixed up everything in Memphis, or because what they haven't fixed up has been well documented. I'd like to find others with which to explore but no luck so far.
The only exploring I've done lately is here on uer, which is more interesting.
Went in on AvChat and got scraped up a bit, brushed myself off and kept going. And for me that's progress. This can be a "thick skinned" business you know. Those drains and towers are really something.
I would like to go inside the James Lee Mansion here in Memphis, so who knows?
Problem with that is, I'd get even more fixated on the place if I went in, and I definitely do not need that right now. Plus they've seen me around there enough times that it'd be such a no-brainer. So I don't know.
Also I want to go with a group and carry some gear along so that at least I LOOK legit if I do get stopped. Seriously, does living in a raggedy old tenement house count as a form of urban exploration? How jacked up does a place have to be before being considered an abandonment? I liked the place so much I moved in, so every minute I spend there should be logged as a "uer moment". Bahahahaha!

| | | | My friend who i typically UrbEx with and myself have this new system where we try to explore a new location every Friday, since both of us are lucky enough to not have university classes that day. We've been able to keep up with it so far.

| | | | I have recently been able to UE about every two to three weeks. I used to UE once a week, then during the summer months I slowed down due to bad events. But now that fall is here once again, I will try for every 2 weeks.
