| | | | Just to let ya guys know, the old york county prison is very much still standing, i was just there earlier this morning. I have never seen cops around the area (oddly enough considering the neighborhood) and I've been there 5 different times. The one poster is correct about 80% of it is boarded up, but if you can get in, its a pretty cool place. There is also two smaller building (i think they belong to the railroad) that are boarded up to the left (if your standing at the front) of the prison, they seem really interesting.

| | | | 80%? It’s pretty tight. The metal doors are welded, the rusty window bars are still immovable, and the two main entrances are boarded, bolted and bared – even though someone tried to burn a hole in it. Very disappointed.
The buildings by the railroad tracks – one’s newly boarded shut, the other is open.
