I urbexed these stairs

Lol, we had bigger expectations for this house...I'd seen it for some time and thought the inside would be extremely photogenic and cool. The outside definitely looked like it would harbor a number of unique finds.

However although it was endearing and we enjoyed it, the insides had mostly been stripped and the walls torn out. It was fun and all, but from a photography standpoint the stairs were really the major benefit. Digging the exteriors too.

I still think the site was worth it, maybe more for macro photography than anything else though. That staircase WAS unique though, never seen one with bay windows before. I love it.

And the toad. :p

That looks like an old house based on the foundation being made from stones and mortar.

Too bad the insides were bare.

I still think it's cool! Architecture is half the fun of urbex, even if there aren't any cool artifacts left behind.

this can be true!

I explored Pilgrim knowing there was nothing left inside and I still had a good time.

Glad you guys liked it, bare or not!

It was a good find, but I was for the most part surprised at the insides. The exteriors make you think you're about to find some holy grail as far as houses go. Unfortunately, as partially seen in 6, the upstairs didn't even have walls. That was kind of a bummer, most of the walls weren't walls and I feel like they removed alot of the architecture. Somehow the flooring was so sturdy I feel like I could have thrown bowling balls around.

The stairs were what made the place, I was in love with them. We got this shot of us looking all over-badass on them for the lulz.

That toad is wicked cute.

It's too bad they stripped this place, because it looks like it used to be really architecturally interesting. Still a nice set though, man.
