|  | | | I just thought I would put up pictures of some of my travels I try to get out often mostly just old farm houses. I post some of these in the photography section from time to time, but figured this board could use something posted and I had some new ones that I wanted to put up.

If I send you some coordinates, would you be willing to go check out some old military sites for me?
Lincoln AFB once had Minuteman ICBM sites. They're long-gone (like, 40 years ago) but I'm wondering what if anything is left to see.
Also, Silver Creek had something pretty cool.

Yeah house fire leftovers....there's was quite a bit of melted stuff in there that was cool. I should go back there again before it snows.

Thanks and the house is slightly south of Callaway NE. I don't know if it's just that style of house and it being super common styling for its era or what but others have asked that too. People from all around the area ask if its located near (insert random town) here. And its not, its not even on a well traveled road more like miles from anything but for some reason it seems familiar to a lot of people.
It also had a very angry turkey vulture in the very small upper level that contains a very cool bed frame similar to my other shot. I wanted to shoot it last time I was there but ended up retreating rather hastily, I think it may have been defending a nest as it was very adamant about me not coming into the room.

Yeah there is stuff like this everywhere if you take the trip to Hastings PM me as you'll go right through (assuming you take I-80) the area that most of these are shot in. I shoot mainly between Grand Island and North Platte from Broken Bow to the KS border and there is endless old houses, churches, and dying towns with different things to see.
Most of them are wide open walk up and shoot what you please most locals seem to wave if they notice I'm there. I usually stop and talk with them if they are close to the location I want to shoot. Most people are generally friendly and full of information and history if the place was in their family or belonged to a neighbor.
