|  | | | Traveling the back roads north of London in December, stumbled across this century house with some obvious signs of violation to say the least. After admiring the sheer curtains in the upper windows flowing outwards into the open air I noticed some forced entry through the walls. Damned shame to see the ruination of such a great looking piece of history. Surely there are other places they can wreak their training havoc?

I'd love to find out what company made it, when & where, and what other pieces were in the product line. Over the years, I've collected the matching dining table, buffet, chest of drawers, and bedside table. Beautiful workmanship, and gorgeous figured veneer on the buffet & chest.
Weird thing is - none of my pieces show any sort of manufacturer's marking, and none of the antique dealers had any information. I'm really surprised at the lack of information, given the quality and seeming popularity.
