|  | | | One of those great old rural schoolhouses, this one just outside Lucan. This building turned out to have more of a history than I anticipated. It was pointed out to me (and I've confirmed it) that this was known once as the Cedar Swamp schoolhouse, and was the place where vigilantes gathered on the eve of February 3rd, 1880 before taking action on the infamous Black Donnellys on the 4th. Wish the walls could share what they've heard!

| | | | I'm game to repeat...I didn't even bother with the old boat that was alongside the property line. And I'm sure I missed some details of the structure. One thing to watch for is what I believe is the deliberate scattering of glass and metal shards just inside. If you weren't expecting it you could get some nasty cuts.
