|  | | | Nicholas Reesor, brother to four siblings and son of Christian and Susan{Burkholder} Reesor.{More to come in the near future in reference to the Burkholder family} Christian Reesor was the second son of John and Annie{Grove} Reesor.
The east half of Lot 12, on concession 9 was originally granted to a Joseph Marr in 1816. The same year 100 acres was sold to John Reesor, than in 1846 John sold it to his son Christian Reesor. Nicholas had taken over the family farm after his father had retired.{Nicholas was fairly young when this happened}. The original farm house was built with stone in 1850 and it is believed that Christian Reesor had built the home. Unfortunately that home was torched about two years ago, and the fire dept. had it taken down completely.
In later years{Which I was unable to find any solid information in my researching} a wood frame house was constructed on the same property, literally 50 yards away from the stone built home.
Nicholas Reesor married a Sarah{Last name unknown?} and had one child. Daughter Jessie Viola Reesor. She had married to a William J. Cowie, and they took over both homes and farm property after Nicholas had retired.

Too bad the house is so trashed, would have been great to catch is a few years prior.
Vital, I'm really liking #4.
sImPsOn, #5 is my fav but I love the feel of your pictures. I think you might have inspired me to dust off my old Konica and shoot a few rolls of film next time I'm out.
