|  | | | has anyone here seen the movie called the tunnel? I had to reinstall Bit Torrent a while back on my computer and just saw it added a free movie download (arent they all free? lmao) it wasnt too bad but got me wondering if the tunnels were based on any truth. the history and location i mean haha. Its about an abandoned unfinished subway system in Australia. anyways I hope this isnt a repost, i searched and got no results...

Lol, the bell room is in St James.... But not the one in this film lol!
The real bellroom is a sectioned part of a double track train tunnel (whole tunnel is sectioned by bomb shelter baffles). Its usually shin deep in water. Im guessing because of this, they mocked it up in one of the bunkers at Middle head.
The film comprises the abandoned subway tunnels at St James North, the train tunnels in Helensburgh and about 4 different bunkers at Middle Head. All are about 20-70kms apart lol. It was a reasonable film, but full of unlikable characters.

It was nice to get back to the Lake.

The Monster is real yes, likewise there are 90kms worth of tunnels joining Middle Head, St James and Helensburgh ;)
