LOL -- Oh god. I'm on the fence now because on one hand Jason has actually been sort of nice to me.. In a friend way. But when it comes to the UE'ing - and his shitty videos It's all.. Fucked up. xD
So - just to post an opposing argument to see how violently you guys tear it apart. Here it is.
Sure - some of the stuff looks (and probably is) faked. But he actually shows off the hospital and what's in it. In an INTERESTING way that makes the average viewer paying attention. It's not like he just brings a camera through the place like "ho hum, this is some abandoned shit. Kcool?". It's more like television -made more exciting for the viewers. And 90% Of the viewers are most likely people who don't give a shit about UER. They just like watching people go through abandoned buildings and getting a quick thrill from it. So can we please just move on? The videos are entertaining - sure not 100% Correct but ENTERTAINING. Which is the point of them. It is Youtube after all. Not the Geographic Channel.
As for his shitty information - he doesn't disclose locations or any PROPER information about him in worries of them getting destroyed by fucking asshat vandals and such. So I understand his point. But I think just saying you can't give out any information would be a lot better then lying about it.

He's a video producer with his hands in all sort of different production projects, many that don't deal with urban exploring. Sure he's ignorant when it comes to the accuracy of history, tends to embelish details and maybe throw in some false details. I don't believe he's trying to cater to the urban explorer community. If you look at his other media productions, he has his hands in all sort of different pies and just enjoys making movies.
I also don't believe he had permission to go inside because the Ontario Realty Corporation keeps turning me down whenever I'm doing business with them. It's just entertainment though, not worth a 5-6 page thread IMO.
Think of it like Lord Rick and his orbs. Both these guys enjoy making video documentaries, don't necessarily dig into the proper history of locations but have fun doing it. Both are mocked by explorers.
If it brings entertainment to his subscribers, power to him. If it brings a few laughs (or lulz) on UER, power to him. The comments on the Youtube channel could be removed by him though.
I agree that it is time to move on, there's only so much you can squeeze out of an old dishrag before it goes dry.

I disagree that the video was "entertaining", it was as boring as it was full of lies and misinformation. IMO.
The dude might very well be a nice guy, but there comes a time when a man should just admit his mistakes and move on. The longer he continues to backpedal with laughable excuses, the funnier this seems to get.

No kidding! Did you read my comments on the youtube channel and his responses? First I'm a troll, then he asks that I correct the information for him... WTF? it's a video. How can I correct it, dub the truth over it? Mmmm, that could be fun!
Then he tells me that they "found the place while on the road" (How? the place is pretty far on the property and not really visible from the road). That they didn't have time to google it and only got their info from the one person who told them how to get there and some of the "history".
Hmmm... Thought they had permission to shoot there? Thought they talked to the "owner" of the building?
Funny thing because I always thought that hospitals where owned by the provincial gov and, since OPP is now currently using/maintaining the property, that it would still be owned by the gov.
But what do I know right?

Just go read my comments and his responses. He changes his story 3 times! First they had permission and spoke with the owner, then they found the place just driving around and couldn't google so they made shit up, then they where told how to get there by this guy that gave him this shitty history... Well which one is it?
