What was the firestone factory making exactly? What intersection is it near? might wanna check it out if im in the area this week


Firestone made tires at the Hamilton plant until the late 80s. It was then leased by Philips Environmental through the 90s for recycling use and completely abandoned by the 2000's. They're pretty far along the demolition by now so it may not serve a point to bother checking it out, but if you do it's by Burlington Street and Kenilworth. I see no harm in posting this as the site will be reduced to a pile of rubble within the next weeks.

thanks zero, I appreciate the info, woulda been mad cool to have known about this place 2 months ago. I hang out in hamilton on a weekly basis these past few months.
