 Overview
 Description
This location was added to the database when the entire building was still under construction and being redeveloped into condos. As it stands now, the condo development is finished and people are living in the building, but there is one area left undeveloped.

Now the only area worth exploring is the old loading bay / power plant. It's a much smaller area than the whole building, but worth checking out if you're in the area.

09.17.2021 - It's been converted into luxury condos and a parking garage. Lofts can go for as much as $3,000,000....
 Basic Information

     Interesting Features
Note: The picture above is about 3 years old and is not accurate. A 5th floor has been added since.

The condo is finished, and only one area remains abandoned, but it's a pretty cool spot and worth checking out if you're nearby.

updated sumer 2010 - the main point of entry is now closed up. Access to the building is much harder, but not impossible.

     History
This building belonged to the Dauch & Hinde paper company before being sold to Irwin toys. D&H wern't the original tenants, but they moved into the building in the very early part of the 1900's.
     Media Coverage
Irwin Toys will NOT be relocating to this building. The current tenants (businesses) are slated to leave by Quarter 1 of 2007, to make way for the completion of the lofts.
     Future Plans
The condo construction is now finished, but there is still one area worth exploring. It used to be the train loading dock for Irwin, and was the power plant for the building prior to Irwin.

The smokestacks and coal storage are still there, sandwiched between the new condo and other developments in the area. No word on if the last part of the undeveloped factory will be demolished or renovated, but it looks like it would be a massive amount of work, so it could just sit there for years.

updates in early 2010 - graffiti cleanup crews have removed some mid 90's graffiti from the side of the building. When some of that graffiti went up, the wal was part of a loading dock but it's now exposed to the street. Even the graffiti in the rooftop was cleaned and broken windows were covered up.
