  •  Interesting Features
An elevator that runs along the OUTSIDE of the house running from ground level to the 2 floors above. The house is also a nearly untouched time capsule of 70's furnishings and decor.
The 2 levels are each a complete apartments complete with living room, kitcken, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom connected only by the solid interior stairs. The place is virtually completely furnished with un-broken retro stuff. Absolutely no vandalism or graffitti anywhere here!!! ZIP! ZERO! NADA! The only damage is from time and neglect. Lots of cool stuff here.
     Security Measures
  • A small rock that holds the screen door shut in front of the door with the broken lock. Not to mention the long non functioning security system. Seclusion is your friend here!

     History
    Truely bizare circumstances explained!

I spoke to an old guy walking his dog in the area and asked him if he knew anything and after a brief hesitation he explained that he himself had lived in the area for 20 years and that he remembered alot of cops and a big stink going on at 70's house for a few days back in 1989. It seems a couple named Lewis and Carolyn Lynncrest lived there since about 1976. The house was built with an elevator because Lewis was wheelchair bound since losing his legs due to diabetes. Seems normal enough right? No, now it grts interesting. It seems that one day Carolyn found Lewis dead in his chair one day in 1988 and she couldn't part with the departed's disability check among others so she decided to put Lewis in a body bag and filled it with lime to kill the stink and bury him and his chair under the downstairs kitchen floorboards and just told everyone he was away seing family.
When Lewis's family finally got suspicious and in 1990 had the police check in on it. When they arived to ask a few questions, she soon confessed to what had happened and where the body was. It seems Carolyn got real nutty in the 2 years the body was hid and she ended up in the nuthouse when she watched them pull up the kichen floorboards and was sent to a nut house in Knoxville where Carolyn lasted about 3 more years before kicking off in 93. The property reverted to the oldest son of Lewis who lives in California and gives a shit less about the place. The old guy I spoke to told the oldest son he'd keep an eye on it for him in 1990 and there you go 14 years have passed and no change and now there is a reason for the maddness. The guy also said I have free run of the place whenever I want.
