Northland was once a strip mall but was renovated and enclosed. Some of the finest entertainers of the 60's. such as Milton Berle, attended the Grand Opening of the mall. It enjoyed much success over the years but the openings of two brand new "super" malls and a Wal-Mart within miles of the site spelled the end of Northland's days.
