    Really huge complex covering several acres in east side montreal. Was still full of interesting machinery, including a still working sky lift !!

     History
    Built the second batch ofsubway cars for Toronto's subway system in 1963 (an order of 6 - 6 car trainsets) ,also built cars for the NY subway and many other worlwide.It also built steam locomotives in its early days The last new build loco to come out of here was the LRC in the early 80s. Bombardier used to plant after that to keep CN and CPs fleets of mlw built alcos still running. MLW was a division of ALCO that outlasted its parent company
