Main worship hall had beautiful wooden arches. Interesting safe in the basement used to hold bodies. Beautiful windows and hard-wood floors in the chapel.

The church was completed in 1912, although the original section dates back to 1882. Designed by William Somerville, the Parish Hall opened it's doors in 1930. There were some very good examples of Neo-Gothic Styling.
In 2002, this property became a City of Toronto Heritage Property.
In 2002, the Church fell under Power of Sale (mortgage default), and was used by Mirvish Productions for "The Lion King" rehearsals.
It's now completely destroyed.

This church, along with an adjacent KFC, was demolished to build a 96 suite residential condominium building. The same developer (Harry Stinson) built the condos at 1 King Street West.
It was completely destroyed. If you want to see an old church, go to Howard Park Pentecostal, two blocks from this location.
