Very old Corktown architecture. Labrynth interior that is much larger inside than it appears outside. A few items of archeological interest. Unfortunately, the interior is subject to a very high level of decay.

"The row houses at the 399-403 King St. E. site were constructed in c.1855. There is nothing known about the architect, if in fact there was one. The buildings were originally owned by Francis Beale and later by Little Trinity Church. At one time the properties at 399-403 King St. E. comprised three separate rental units in a block of five income producing row houses owned by Little Trinity Church. Three of the row houses were in an advanced state of disrepair and were demolished in the late 60's. The two remaining houses were renovated and occupied by several members of the congregation until 1985 when the buildings were vacated and boarded up because the Church could not afford to renovate them to acceptable standards. From Little Trinity's website: The building at 399 King Street east is the central focus of our redevelopment plans. Idle for many years, the building has the potential to provide us with the additional space we need to serve the current congregation and its ministries as well as make room for future growth. Our plans call for a redeveloped and enlarged two-story building which will maintain the historic King Street façade. Located on the ground floor will be a meeting room, a reception area and administrative offices, and a small kitchen. The second floor will provide us with a large multi-functional conference room, a kitchen and a reception space that overlooks the adjacent park. Finally, the basement will feature a dedicated gathering space for youth, lockers and showers for guests and needy visitors, along with some storage space. The church building, our spiritual home, will receive some important renovations and updates. The toddler and nursery spaces will receive significant upgrades in order to better meet the needs of our youngest members. At the same time the church basement, which is our primary social space, will be refurbished with new finishes, lighting, ventilation and storage in order to provide a modern, inviting community hall. The outdoor space behind 399 King Street will also be renewed, resulting in a more accessible and friendly site that includes an enclosed lawn and hard surfaced courtyard. The third building on the property, Little Trinity House, will receive minor renovations as offices are moved into the new building at 399 King Street, making room for more Sunday school rooms and small group meeting spaces.
