the interior is literally a maze of plywood and matresses: leftover from the buildings brief stint as a haunted house. there is also cheap graffitti saying things like "this way to hell" which was sprayed on by the people who decorated the haunted house.
the original brick is seen from both the inside and outside of
the building, and there is a gymnasium full of junk and strewn with odds and ends...including a couch and a big machine which i am still unable to identify.

the boiler room on the first floor is vintage 1920's. you can see the loading bins for what was probably coal.
the door that connects the boiler room to the rest of the basement is one of the neatest old doors i have ever seen. its also very unique. never seen anything like it before.
also dont be creeped out by the life-size E.T. doll that lurks around one of the corners.

Flint School was built in 1924 by the Sharon Township School District. A three room building, each room served several grades. One room held grades one through three, another grades four through six, and the third room grades seven and eight. Flint School was merged into the Worthington School District in 1949.The school closed in 1963. Students attending the school were set to Wilson Hills Elementary, Worthingway Middle School, Kilbourne for ninth grade and Worthington High School.
in the 80's, the school was turned into a haunted house, which ran each halloween for about a decade. the interior is still set up as a haunted house.
Demolished in March 2011.

The Division of Parks and Recreation and the Worthington School District have developed a park on the land surrounding the old school building. Plans to use the school for a recreational center are still in process.
