 Overview
 Description
This bus repair place is completely locked in between houses that front the triangle of streets around it. It has one gate that was used for buses to exit and enter the property. It has repair halls for buses, a washing street for buses, a washing room for people and a mess hall. Cellars and a bunker, depending on the weather, but mostly flooded. There are also two administrative buildings, but those are not so interesting.

*Major repair halls where an old wooden tram can still be found
*There has been a fire in one of the cellars, which besides making the building stink, has created very nice textures
*The drawing tables (also in the repair halls) which they used to make the paper that were used to create the glass boards which indicated the destination of the bus. Some glass boards have survived as well.

     History
Before 1991 public transport companies in Belgium wasn't divided in the same way as today. Every major city had its own public transport company (buses, metro, trams) but in 1991 everything in the Flanders got joined, as did everything in Walloon. Brussels was an oddity: it is located in the Middle of Flanders so while it got its own public transport company, part of the existing patrimony also went to Flanders because they brought the people from outside Brussels into it.

As a result one of the major public transport locations within Brussels went to the Flanders, namely the Bara. This location was equipped to repair trams and buses, but also stored them through the night.

However the company decided to move all the buses (by that time there were no more trams in this company) to another city, so all the repair buildings were left alone. For one year the storage-buildings for the buses were also used as a racing circuit for go carts but when they didn't pay the rent, these buildings were completely abandoned.

The administrative forces remained for a bit until they followed the buses (their new building needed to be built first) 5 years ago.

Still, a small shop to buy tickets to the bus remained. In 2006 they also went away and the property was sold to Brussels.
