Be warned if you go in the house. The 2nd floor is sagging in. There is no access to it as the stairs have collapsed and the roof is partially gone. The living room floor has also partially collapsed into the basement Also when you turn the corner and look into the kitchen you will get a nice suprise on the wall :)

The barns are all in decent shape and you should be fairly safe. There is one building on the property that is extremely odd. Its just a square wodden building with another smaller square structure inside of it, with reinforced walls. Never figured out what it was for, possibly for corn/grain storage/ hen house. There is some rotting appliances and 55gallon drums in the shed behind the house. All drums are empty.

     History
Hidden in some thick trees in the middle of cornfields off of Prairie St. in Aurora/Montgomery area is a sleeper. This abandoned house has been for sale since the late 60s. At that time the last owner was murdered within the house. His murderer committed suicide moments later, also in the house. The farm land attached to the farm is still used by one of the local farmers. He does check in on the area once a week. He uses a small part of the barn for storing some straw and farm equipment. Other than that it is completely abandoned and very easy to access.

There is only one neighbor (across the street) who has never bothered me the many times I have parked in the houses driveway. I would imagine that since it it for sale it's easy to look over the property, however the chain across the driveway says NO TRESPASSING . They have built a new subdivision just a 1/4 mile down the road from the house and it's only a matter of time before the house is torn down for the same purpose.

The property was being used for storage when the Sugar Grove 4 H club was active, however the property has become so decrepit that they gave up on it years ago.
