Three story main seating area with betting counters at the back of each level. ~25 trailers (some with kennels) behind the track, mostly abandoned, but some structures with evidence of residents or squatters.
12.21.2023 - Demolished in 2016, the entire 65 acre plot is being developed for mixed housing and retail and is recycling the name "Mile High Greyhound Park".

The 'shantytown' around back is interesting in that there are units with artifacts left behind (one full of clothes, another full of shoes and toys). There is a house on the far end of the back area where, presumably, the groundskeeper (for lack of a better term) lives. The units along this side of the little development are in better shape than the rest and have evidence of people living in them (a bbq, kid's bikes, a cat).

12.21.2023 - This location was formally the Mile High Greyhound Park. Under new housing and retail development, it will retain the same name despite nothing of the former left standing.

The former dog track is now the site of phase I of Colorado Motorsports Park, which is currently a 1/3 mile dirt oval track where the dog track used to be. It appears that the facilities are being reused to this end. Eventually the track will include a 'master planned' road course and additional facilities.
12.21.2023 - The 65 acre site is / will be home to single family homes, row homes, duplexes, luxury condos, and retailers.
