3-4 story main building, plenty of 1 story rooms attached. Rooms are nearly unrecognizable as to function by now. Stairs have been cut out or otherwise removed, making access beyond the first floor in the main building difficult.

The Hocking Valley Brewery was built between 1904 and 1905. I read that the brewery itself closed in the 30's as a result of the Great Depression. The building has been used for a variety of uses since it ceased to be a brewery, including a chicken hatchery. Every once in a while, someone will come up with some ambitious plan to turn this facility into something, but that never seems to materialize. Now it seems as if someone's recycling the bricks from it - perhaps it's going down, slowly but surely.

Building was demolished, the bricks were recycled and resold for exorbitant prices. Don't know what's going to go on the land...Knowing Nelsonville, nothing.
