     History
Accordign to residents, this was a family owned farm for several generations. Eventually, modern mechanization and a lack of desire on the part of the children to continue farming caused the sale of this place to one of the large corporate farms in the area. The fields are still being worked by the corporate farm, but the house and outbuildings are empty and rotting. I always hate to see the hard work of many hands left wasting away. You can almost hear the kids and the horses and the noises of a farm family.

     Future Plans
Absolutely nothing. At some point, the corporate farm may knock down these buildings in order to increase their farmable acreage, but otherwise, these will stand undisturbed until they fall.
