Must explore basement and roof. They are interesting to check out. Do this before it is demolished for reals.

Original architect of this 10 story tall building is Al Beadle. He's a famous architect and worked on many other projects including the "white gates" house in Phoenix. The building was erected in 1973 for the Mountain Bell telephone company which later became US West which later became Qwest. Al Beadle died in 1998 and 30 years after the building was built it was vacated in 2003. In 2004 the 9 acre property including the building was bought for $12,000,000. The current owner Joe Pinsonneault (who is San Diego based) plans to destroy the building and build a new building, in fact he wants to build TWO buildings there instead of 1. He's been working on destroying it for the last 4 years and yet it's still standing. His dreams to are to build a retirement complex on the site instead.
