 Overview
 Description
A former missile base containing two main areas. The Integrated Fire Control has been demolished except for the "Pacman" clamshell radar units, which are slowly falling apart, hence the nickname. The launch facility contains a few buildings and two large bunkers whose lower levels have been sealed off with steel plates.

     History
    One of five NIKE Hercules batteries built to protect Fairbanks from Soviet bombers during the Cold War. Site Peter was also one of the only two installations in the nation to hold live-fire practice launches, the other being Site Summit in Anchorage.
