West of Lajitas 9.5 miles on Hwy 170, on the south side, within easy walking distance, on the Rio Grande. Look for the closed gate with the small "Contrabando" name suspended over the top.

2X: Actually this is across the highway from the State Park at least as of 2017 the park boundary is still north of Hwy 170. I cant find out who owns this it may belong to Presidio county. The sand bar in the river here is shallow enough even after heavy rains to make crossing easy.
