     History
My father-in-law told me about this site over July 4th weekend so I had to take a look see for myself. It looks like a fire broke out in the main residence. The fire gutted the entire structure; I did not have the correct gear to enter the basement so that will have to wait for another trip. It looks like a trailer was brought in for shelter until the house was rebuilt but it never happened. It also looks like the residents made temporary living space in the garage, probably before the trailer arrived. This place has been empty sometime since 2004, judging by the magazines and newspapers left behind. One person who lived here was a computer/game geek judging by the game/computer magazines left. The trailer was damaged by looters looking for anything they could resell. There are several places where the walls were torn apart when the copper wiring was ripped out. There was also a lot of writing on the walls. One that caught my eye was the poem regarding the 9-11 terrorist attacks.
