tres belle architecture exterieur!! batiment divisé d'une facon un peu unique, limitant les acces entre les peres et les freres seulement quand c'est nécessaire!
Attention batiment surveillé depuis le vol inusité de la statue de cuivre (du fondateur) situé devant le batiment, mesurant 6 pieds et pesant plus de 1000 lbs! La surete du Quebec surveille un peu plus!!

Le fondateur des Peres Montfortains etait Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort-Sur-Meu pres de Rennes, il entra au seminaire de Saint-Sulpice pres de Paris, dans le secteur reservé au pauvre. Les Montfortains se sont installés a Nicolet en 1925, a l'époque ils etaient une cinquantaine et lorsqu'ils ont demenagés, ils n'etaient plus que 4 dans le batiment. Ce dernier vient d'etre vendue depuis peu a un promoteur qui a deja amorcé son projet d'Hotel Manoir Montfort, ce serait un hotel a 2 vocations, une lucrative et lautre humanitaire!!
