 Overview
 Description
The Joseph Medlicott Scriven House & Graveyard is a historic site, north of Rice Lake. Joseph Medlicott Scriven became famous for a poem that he wrote in 1869, that came to be known as 'What a Friend We Have in Jesus'.

The tiny house is sealed. The view through the window reveals nothing worthy of note, but this visit was worthwhile, albeit somber. Our own loved ones suffering from MS and cancer were fresh in our minds.

My condolences, and a metaphorical hug, for anyone that you yourself may have lost.
