Now a monument to the dead of WWII, the ruin has been cleaned up. Stone walls and arches remain; there are no roof or windows. At night the city lights are visible thru gaps in the structure.
There is no signage forbidding access; but they haven't made it easy either. There is no marked crossing. Traffic in the roundabout is fast and heavy, but lighter late at night. Foreign visitors who aren't used to left-sided driving need to take extra care.

With no roof or windows, the Gothic arches of the structure of window frames are emphasized. The structure is floodlit at night.

This church was an important Plymouth spiritual center for 300 years, until it was destroyed by firebomb during World War II. The ruin was rededicated as a monument to the war dead, and was encircled by a roundabout ten years later.
