A large amount of the equipment was left in-situ after closure as it looks as if they only things they removed were the animals. Testing cages, lab equipment and outdated machinery littered the buildings.

The British Industrial Biological Research Association (BIBRA for short) was an animal testing facility located in a leafy very expensive area of Surrey. Throughout it's existence it performed medical and product testing on a vast array of animals from rodents to primates mostly for the use of the adjacent hospital site but also for the wider public for companies such as Boots and AstraZeneca. It became one of the most infamous facilities in the country during the 1990s, being the subject of numerous animal rights protests some of which turned violent.

The building was demolished in 2011 and a school now sits on the site.
