Mirvish Village consisted of an entire block bordering the Bathurst/Bloor intersection plus a row of houses on Markham St. These lots were acquired over a period of 70 years. Ed and Anne Mirvish opened a small shop at Bathurst and Bloor in 1943, and after its success, looked to acquire a larger property in that area. The department store Honest Ed's began as a three-storey house, turning into three connected, until it was the two large buildings today. Ed Mirvish died in 2006 and the store remained open. However, the surviving Mirvish family sold the property to Westbank in 2013 to be developed into a 20+ storey rental unit building with retail spaces on the bottom. All stores were evicted on December 31st, 2016 and demolition finally commenced in October 2017. In November 2016, the TTC decorated nearby Bathurst Station, with signs and stickers in the style of the department store. These remained until January 2017 when they were removed.

Demolished to become yet another glass box. (Not technically a condo, but doesn't stop it from looking like a glass box)
