The hallways and stairwells are very indicative of the period the complex was built in. The apartment complex includes 44 units ranging in size of one and two bedrooms. In the basement there was a laundrette and storage lockers for tennants. The property was acquired along with two houses to the west to be part of a large condo building development. The developers encouraged eviction as early as 2008, but it is not clear when the building became completely vacant. In 2009, the City declined the condo development proposal, wanting to see a better "transition" from the high rise dense developments on Avenue Rd. to the large but low-density residences of Forest Hill. In addition, one of the houses part of the development property had a heritage designation, and the proposals did not contain any plans that were in accordance to heritage property regulation. A third blow against the development was poor sales. The three buildings have sat in limbo ever since. Demolished in 2019.
