     History
The Douglas Hollow Schoolhouse is an historic, one-room schoolhouse surrounded by farmland in Wasco County. It likely supported the children of the farming communities around Dufur and The Dalles. In 2018, the Dalles Substation Fire nearly destroyed this site. But today, it sits undisturbed and in well-preserved condition.
