I decided to get off the bus early and check it out, expecting nothing more than a typical business building. Walked around the exterior and found a stairway leading up to a dark room with another staircase. Following that one brought me to an open courtyard area surrounded by three more levels of apartments. Almost all of them are abandoned but there were some signs of life in one or two, but the only person we actually saw was someone who obviously lived in a rooftop room. Unfortunately it was starting to rain and we had to hurry back to Seoul for an event so there wasn't enough time to properly explore every corner.
